University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Swat (UVAS)
The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) is a prestigious institution in Pakistan dedicated to education, research, and services related to veterinary sciences and animal health. Established in 1882, UVAS is one of the oldest veterinary institutions in Asia.
UVAS has its main campus in Lahore, Punjab, which is the largest city in Pakistan’s province of Punjab. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields of veterinary sciences, animal production, and health. These include Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Dairy Technology, Poultry Science, Fisheries & Aquaculture, and more.
It is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) and the International Association of Veterinary Education Establishments (IAVEE), among other affiliations.
